Dr. Yige Bao received his M.D. degree from Sichuan University and his Ph.D degree from University of Western Ontario. He is currently attending surgeon and associate professor in Department of Urology, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. Dr. Bao is member of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Vice-Chair of Sichuan Medical Doctor Association, Division of Urological Doctors Youth Member Association, Member of Chinese Research Hospital Association (CRHA) Committee of Urology, and member of Sichuan Urogenital Health Association. His Major interest in clinical practice was minimally invasive surgical intervention for upper tract urothelial carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and renal cancer. Dr. Bao is also a member of both CUA and CUDA UTUC guideline panel, chief editor for the book Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma: Patient Education (published in Chinese), and chapter author for the book Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma (published in Chinese).

Dr Giovanni Cacciamani is a urologist and surgeon-scientist, recognized internationally for his contributions to oncological diseases, patient safety, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into healthcare. He is an Associate Professor of Urology and Radiology Research at the University of Southern California (USC), USA and serves as the Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center for Surgical and Clinical Applications in Urology with cutting-edge research initiatives at the intersection of urology, technology, and clinical innovation.
    
Dr Cacciamani is also actively involved in shaping the future of AI and digital health in urology on a global scale. He chairs the Young Academic Urologists (YAU) UroTechnology and Digital Healthcare Group of the European Association of Urology (EAU), a role through which he promotes technological advancements and digital transformation in the field of Urology. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Urology, for the section on Innovation and AI.    

His dedication to healthcare innovation has been widely recognized. In 2022, he was honored as Citizen of the Year (Italy) for his pioneering work in medical technology, and he received the Italian Matula Award, the most prestigious recognition for the best Italian urologist under 40.    

Dr Cacciamani has authored approximately 350 scientific publications (H-Index 40) and has delivered over 200 lectures worldwide on emerging technologies, AI, and digital medicine applications in urology. His lab at USC is currently exploring the potential of Generative AI (GAI) in healthcare, focusing on making AI more accessible and practical for practicing physicians. With a deep commitment to bridging technology and clinical practice, Dr Cacciamani goal is conducting innovative research and education efforts, shaping the future of AI-driven urology and digital healthcare worldwide.

Current Position
• Founder and senior faculty at Ng Teng Fong general hospital, providing the full range of urological services and care at a tertiary level along with training to registrars and fellows from overseas.
• Recognized regionally and internationally as a Centre for clinical trials and research and have been involved in trials with CROES body, INFINITY study and PHI index study to name a few, FLEXOR study, REAP, PEEL and FANS global study study to name a few.
• I herald the training programmes for visiting fellows and trainees from other countries and every year we have exchange residents and consultants in urology who spend time with us for training in MIS in urology.
• I conduct biannually masterclasses in MIS approach for stone and prostate nationally and regionally and have been the faculty and co- organizer for the masterclass and semi live surgery conducted in UROFAIR, the premier urology meeting under the auspices of Singapore urology association (SUA) since 2017.

Dr Weida Lau is Divisional Chair of Surgery and Head of Department of Urology at KTPH, NHG Health Singapore. He is UK-Fellowship trained in Andrology and Reconstructive Urology. He holds a MHPE from Maastricht University, an MBA (with distinction) from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK, and an MPH from Warwick University.

He is recognized within his professional community as the Vice President of the Singapore Urological Association (SUA). He is a key opinion leader in penile oncology, genitourethral reconstruction, male sexual dysfunction, and Minimally invasive surgical therapy (MIST) for prostate enlargement. He has written several publications and produced surgical video presentations on these subjects.

I graduated from the University of Occupational and Environmental Health in 1993 and began my career as a urologist. To practice in the urogynecology field, I joined the Department of OB/GYN at Kameda General Hospital in 2009 and trained there for three years. Consequently, I am one of the few doctors trained in both urology and gynecology. Currently, I work as a urogynecologist, utilizing my training in both disciplines. I treat patients with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, female voiding dysfunction, and vesicovaginal fistula (VVF). I am skilled in various surgical methods, including conventional laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, vNOTES, transvaginal mesh surgery, and transvaginal non-mesh surgery.   

I have also trained more than 30 Urologists and gynecologists from Asian countries as international fellows and am actively working to build stronger relationships with these countries.

Dr. Benjamin Pradere, earned his MD degree from the Urology and Oncology Unit at the University Hospital Center of Tours, France. He further honed his expertise through a year-long clinical and research fellowship sponsored by the Endourological Society, conducted at the Urology Department of Tenon Hospital, Paris, under the guidance of Prof. Traxer. During this period, Dr. Pradere made significant contributions to the field, focusing on innovative approaches to treating urothelial carcinoma and pioneering new technologies for its diagnosis, which garnered multiple prestigious awards.   

In 2019, he embarked on a journey with the Department of Urology at the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where he played a pivotal role in clinical research. Today, Dr. Pradere serves as a senior Urologist at La Croix Du Sud Hospital in France, with his primary emphasis on Urothelial Carcinoma and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH). He maintains close collaborations with leading European University Hospitals, actively contributing to international research endeavors.   

For six years, Dr. Pradere led the executive committee of the French Association of Young Urologists (AFUF) and served as its Chairman. Under his leadership, the AFUF created invaluable educational and scientific content. He remains dedicated to shaping the future of urology and is actively engaged with the European Association of Urology (EAU), where he is part of both the Young Urologists Office (YUO) and the Young Academic Urology office (YAU), within the Urothelial working Group. Since 2015, Dr. Pradere has contributed as an Associate for the EAU Guidelines, initially in the Urological Infection panel, and later transitioning to the Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC) and Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma (UTUC) guideline panels. In 2018, he took on an active role in the EAU Guidelines Dissemination Group. He also leads the Educational UroOnco Platform of the EAU, for the section dedicated to urothelial carcinoma.   

Within France, he continues to contribute significantly, serving on various scientific committees such as the committee for urothelial carcinoma (CCAFU) and the committee for male Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (CTMH). His commitment extends to nurturing the next generation of urologists, as he holds a position in the French College of Urologic Teachers.

Since 2022, he has been elected at the executive committee of the French Association of Urology (AFU), where he took the position of vice-treasure and is leading the communication committee. Dr. Pradere is a prolific author and co-author of over 400 peer-reviewed articles in esteemed international journals and has authored several influential book chapters. He also actively participates as a reviewer for numerous national and international journals. Furthermore, Dr. Pradere serves as an associate editor for several urological journals, including the World Journal of Urology, Progrès en Urology, and Actas Urologicas. His primary areas of expertise encompass urologic oncology and endo-urology, with a specific focus on upper urinary tract and bladder cancers.

Dr. Jeffrey Tuan is the Head and Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist in the Department of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary, Gastrointestinal, and Genitourinary Radiation Oncology in the Division of Radiation Oncology at the National Cancer Center Singapore (NCCS). He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Oncology Academic Program (ACP) of the Duke-NUS medical school. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and holds a Master of Science in Oncology from the University of London. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), United Kingdom and honorary treasurer of the College of Radiologists (CRS), Academy of Medicine Singapore (AMS).   

His clinical interests are in managing patients with urological and gynecological cancers using advanced radiation therapy techniques such as volumetric modulated arc therapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and brachytherapy. He spent 4 years training and pursuing research at both the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in London, England, and at the Fondazione Centro Nazionale Adrotherapia Oncologia (CNAO) in Pavia, Italy.   

More recently, he has been actively involved in the set up of the new proton beam therapy center located in the National Cancer Center Singapore, which has been operational since 2023. He is involved in setting up and maintaining a large comprehensive prospective registry that tracks clinical outcomes, including PROMs, of patients treated with both conventional radiotherapy and proton beam therapy.

Dr CHAN, Chi Kwok was graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He completed his training in Urology in Hong Kong. Following the acquisition of Fellowship of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Surgery (Urology) and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he went to the Bristol Urological Institute, UK for further urological training in Neuro-urology, Urodynamics and Functional Urology. His main clinical interest falls on management of neuropathic bladder, voiding dysfunction, urodynamic research, sexual dysfunction and sex reassignment surgery (SRS).

Dr. Chan is the president of East Asian Society of Endourology, the Chair of Young Leadership Forum of Urological Association of Asia (UAA) and treasurer of Asian Urological Surgery Training and Education Group (AUSTEG). He is the past president of Hong Kong Urological Association and the Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Honorary consultant of Prince of Wales Hospital. His interest in urology includes laparoscopic/robotic urologic surgery with more than 15 years of experience in robotic surgery. Dr. Chan is actively involving in undergraduates teaching, and residents and post-fellowship training in Hong Kong and Asia countries on minimal invasive and robotic urologic surgery, organizing workshops, lectures and conferences for education and improving the standards of urology practice in HK and other Asia countries. 

Dr Chan Hoi Chak Wilson is Consultant Urologist in Department of Surgery, North District Hospital. Dr Chan graduated in CUHK in 2006 and obtained his Fellowship of Urology in 2015. He completed his specialty training in United Christian Hospital. His special interest is female urology, endourology and laparoscopic / robotic surgery. He was ex-chairman of young urology session in Hong Kong Urological Association (HKUA). He is currently the president of Hong Kong Society of Endourology and co-opt member of HKUA. He is actively organizing public health talk to public via HKSE facebook and HKUA Youtube channel. He also organized different professional post-fellow trainings to colleagues, like HKSE OT forum, to improve surgical skills in the society of local and Asian urologists. He obtained HA Corporate Scholarship and completed retroperitoneoscopic and robotic surgery training in oncology and reconstruction in People’s Liberation Army General Hospital under Prof Xu Zheung in July 2018. He completed training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery in UCLA in 2018 under supervision of Dr Kim and Prof Shlomo Raz. He is advocated to perform pubovaginal sing in female stress urinary incontinence by native tissue.

Dr Franklin Ho was graduated in the Chinese university of Hong Kong in 2005, and he obtained his followships in urology in 2012. He was working in Princess Margaret hospital from 2010 to 2019 and became private practise till now. Dr Ho is interested in robotic and prostate surgery.

Dr Hou graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1986 and completed his residency training in surgery in Queen May Hospital of Hong Kong.

In 1991, he started specialization in the field of Urology & reckoned as specialist in urology in 1993.      

In 1994 & 1995, he attended the Department of Urology in Mayo Clinic, Rochester in Minnesota as visiting clinician in voiding dysfunction & reconstructive urology. He then joined the Department of Surgery in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital Hong Kong in 1996 & developed special interest in laparoscopic urologic surgery.   

In 2007, Dr Hou become Consultant Urologist in the Department of Surgery in Prince of Wales Hospital, Hon. Associate Professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong & started a new chapter in robotic urological surgery practise and also supervised the urology services in the North District Hospital & Alice Ho Ming Ling Nethersole Hospital of the New Territories East Cluster of Hospital Authority.   

Dr Hou start his private practise in CUHK Medical Centre after retired from Hospital Authority in 2021.   

His special interests included reconstructive, laparoscopic & robotic urological surgery.   

Dr Kan obtained the fellowship in Urology from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and was awarded the CH Leong Medal & Scholarship. He was elected distinguished young fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.

He pursued his post-fellowship training under the auspices of Mrs Esther Wu Memorial Fund Scholarship. During his stay in Egypt, he was trained in post-cancer surgery reconstructive urology, and he then completed his training in incontinence care at University College London Hospitals.

Dr Kan is an active member in the field of laparoscopy and endourology. He was invited as guest speaker at different occasions in Singapore, Nepal, Mainland China and Taiwan. He has been the local Course Director of the yearly urodynamic courses held in Hong Kong. In recognition of his contribution to the urology community, Dr Kan was awarded the UAA-Youth Section Fellowship Award.

Ms. Lai is an experienced Urology Nurse. She was graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Bachelor of Nursing (Hons)) in 2007. She attained the Master of Science in Nursing in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2009. Ms. Lai further her studies in Urology and in 2012, she completed Post-Registration Certificate Course in Urology Nursing.

She is now working in Urological Investigation Unit, North District Hospital.

Dr Lam obtained his medical degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2004. In 2012, he was elected as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Fellow of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, and Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. overseas training in kidney transplantation at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), United State.

From 2005 to 2023, Dr Lam served at the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital and the Princess Margaret Hospital. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as the Urology Team Head and Consultant Urologist in the Princess Margaret Hospital. He was appointed as Vice Chairman of Urology Speciality Group of Hospital Authority in 2023. He joined private practice since January 2024. 

Dr Lam is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical training. He was appointed as Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016 and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery of The University of Hong Kong since 2021. He was elected as Committee member of Urology Board of The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Examiner of The Membership Examination of Hong Kong Intercollegiate Board of Surgical Colleges in 2022.

Dr Lam clinical and research interest includes Robotic Urological Surgery, Focal Therapy for prostate cancer (Cryotherapy) and minimally invasive therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He was mentor of robotic urological surgery and presented his case series and experience of Retzius-sparing Robotic Prostatectomy, Robotic Nephrectomy with Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) Thrombectomy, Robotic Partial Nephrectomy for totally endophytic tumor, Robotic Cystectomy with Intra-corporeal ileal conduit reconstruction in regional and local conference.

Dr Lam introduced Cryotherapy for prostate cancer in Hospital Authority. He was the principal investigator of cryoablation of prostate tumor study and published investigation findings in international journal. Dr Lam was also supervisor of the study of water vapor therapy (REZUM) for BPH patient in which the results had been presented in various scientific meetings.

Dr. David Leung graduated from CUHK, and is currently a urology specialist in NTEC, North District Hospital. He is active in clinical research and has produced multiple publications on renal cell carcinoma, prostate cancer and urothelial cancer. He is also endowed with the HA Corporate Scholarship for attachment to Careggi University Hospital in Florence Italy, to further his development in robotic kidney and prostate surgery, as well as academic research. 

Dr MAN is Consultant Urologist of Department of Surgery at Tuen Mun Hospital & Pok Oi Hospital. He had served as Chief of Service of the Department, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Surgery and Chairman of the Specialty Group in Urology Services in the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong. He is a general urologist with particular interest in bladder reconstruction, prostate cancer and stone disease. Dr Man graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1981. He has been elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He is a Specialist in Urology in Hong Kong. He is holder of Diploma of Urology (London) with distinction and Schering Prize, and also Diploma of Child Health (London). In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr Man is also a Bachelor in Laws at Beijing University, China. In urology education, Dr Man has helped to establish higher urology training programmes at the Tuen Mun and Pok Oi Hospitals in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Board of Examiners for the joint Urology Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, and the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong. He is a Past President of the Hong Kong Urological Association and had served as Honorary Secretary of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, Chairman of the Urology Board and 1st vice President of the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong. He is a Past President of the Urological Association of Asia and he had held honorary advisory positions within the China Doctors’ Association Urology Chapter, the Hong Kong College of Urological Nurses and the Macao Surgical Association. He spends his spare time in reading and gardening.

Dr NG Chi Fai, Anthony graduated in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1993. He then joined Department of Surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital, as surgical trainee. After his basic training, he decided to become an urologist and became a specialist in 2001. Attracted by the rapid development in endourology, he spent one year in Scotland, worked under Mr David Tolley, and gained extensive experience in endo laparoscopic surgery and stone management.

After completion of his training, Dr Ng decided to join the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006 and is currently Director of the S.H. Ho Urology Centre, Department of Surgery, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also the Director of CUHK Jockey Club Minimally Invasive Surgical Skills Centre. He has a wide range of interest, in particular in prostate diseases, urolithiasis, and promotion of men’s health. He was also honored with the Outstanding Young Urologist Award in 2010 by the Asian Congress of Urology, the International Guest Scholar 2012 of the American College of Surgeons and the World Chinese Urology Association Award 2014, as recognitions to his work in the field.

Besides clinical and research work, Dr Ng has also strong commitment in education and teaching. He is currently member of the educational subcommittee of the Hong Kong Urological Association and also the council member of the College of Surgeon of Hong Kong and also the Urology Board of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong. He is actively involved in the planning of the urological training in Hong Kong.

Also he has been awarded the Best teacher Award (2008-2009, 2011- 2012) of the Faculty of Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, for his contribution in undergraduate teaching. He has also initiated a series of public educational activities “Watchman” (included: webpage - www.watchman.hk; facebook page - watch!man ; iphone apps - watchman) to help to improve the public knowledge on Men’s health related topics

Dr Ng obtained his primary medical qualification from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong in 2008.  He was trained in Princess Margaret Hospital and completed his Urology training in 2015. After obtaining his Fellowship in Urology from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he served in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He had overseas training exposure in Belgium & London in 2018. Dr. Ng is currently a Consultant in the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital. His special interests are uro-oncological surgery and robotic surgery.

Dr. Poon Yick Kwan Vincent is a urology specialist currently working in the private sector. Previously he served as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Surgery, Princess Margaret Hospital Hong Kong. He received his urology training in Princess Margaret Hospital and continued his career there. He has fond interest in surgery related to benign prostatic hyperplasia, pioneering the LA Urolift service, bipolar enucleation of prostate, as well as thulium laser enucleation of prostate at PMH. He is also involved in the development of LA Rezum service at his workplace. He was the very first with hands on experience in LA Urolift surgery in the Hong Kong public sector. He is one of a few individuals in this locality who has mastered using Urolift for relieving urinary retention patients off indwelling catheters. He also has special interest in paediatric kidney transplantation surgery, he is heavily involved and has been helping to maintain such service in PMH. His dedication to improvement in urology service was acknowledged and was rewarded the PMH Young Achiever Award 2021.

Dr Tam obtained her medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007. She completed her urology residency at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong and obtained her fellowship from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

She is now serving as a Consultant in the Urology division of the Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as an honorary clinical associate professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Her subspecialty interests encompass renal transplant, uro-oncology and robotic surgeries.

Dr. CF Tsang graduated from the University of Hong Kong. He received training in urology in Queen Mary Hospital. He held fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He has been with Queen Mary Hospital and the University of Hong Kong since 2009.

 Dr. Tsang is currently a consultant urologist in Queen Mary Hospital and honorary clinical associate professor of the University of Hong Kong. He was devoted in education and training and has been the course director of the annual Masterclass in Laparoscopic Urological Surgery jointly organized by the European Association of Urology (EAU) School of Uro-technology and the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Tsang’s main interest is in minimal invasive and robotic surgery, endoscopic enucleation of prostate and renal transplantation.
